What has come over me
What madness taken hold of my heart
To run away, the only answer
Pulling me away
To run upon my sight
So now recovering
Sweet shadow taking hold of my mind
Another day has been devoured
Calling me away, bringing the question
Why
For saving me from all they've taken
Let my honor fall again
Giving me the strength to face them
Feeling it taking over now
I'm about to take it all away
There can be no better way of knowing
In a world beyond controlling
Are you going to deny the savior
In front of your eyes?
Stare into the night
Power beyond containing
Are you going to remain a slave for
The rest of your life?
Give into the night
This self-discovery
Redemption taking hold of my mind
This serenade of haunting voices
Calling me away
To piece from the sight
So much felicity
Downgrade and taking hold of my head
Leading me away from hibernation
Strong and I'm unafraid
Never a question why
For saving me from all they've taken
Let my honor fall again
Giving me the strength to face them
Feeling it taking over now
I'm about to take it all away
There can be no better way of knowing
In a world beyond controlling
Are you going to deny the savior
In front of your eyes?
Stare into the night
Power beyond containing
Are you going to remain a slave for
The rest of your life?
Give into the night
Give in to the night
In a world beyond controlling
Are you going to deny the savior
In front of your eyes?
Stare into the night
Power beyond containing
Are you going to remain a slave for
The rest of your life?
Give into the night
Night, night, night
Give into the night
Night, night, night
Give into the night
Give into the night

Lots of errrors in the lyrics will try and post corrected ones in a bit. Based on the correct lyrics it is about someone who has been to a slave to society their entire life, always tried to follow the straight & narrow, do the right thing and in essence has become a drone or even bottom feeder in essence do to this timid approach. The song is asking this person are you gonna be a slave your whole life to society or are you gonna rise up, take what's yours, throw caution to the wind and really learn to live. The savior he speaks of is the one which breaking free of societys hold on yourself would save this person. The lyrics are armor not honor. .that's a key error. The armor is the one this person has their entire life worn to shield themselves from ever being free..it's their own prison they've created figuratively that's in essence become a vehicle of self enslavement. To drop the armor, truly be themselves..live life (give into The Night)..the night being symbolic of the life they should strive to live. .not the enslaved, safe and straight & narrow one they are living now thats gotten them nowhere.
