i love this song. he sounds like he's really having fun a la the "party" in the background and his laughing in the middle of singing. the whole thing's just really rough sounding, really great. there's no one answer to the meaning....that's the beauty of dylan. he wrote songs like this to inspire discussions like this. and here you go, a bunch of people talking about his lyrics 40 years later. that said, there is a drug reference here. i mean, are you blind? |
